The Wynnstay Hotel was a well known coaching inn for both the route from Liverpool to Cardiff and from London to Holyhead. There are references dating back to 1727, but the existing building is typical of the Georgian style, and there have been many alterations and additions over the years.
The hotel has been privately owned for the past 20 years and was sympathetically renovated over the past 2 years extending the function suite to 200 people capacity, and converting the old stable block at the rear of the hotel into a luxurious fitness club with an indoor pool, sauna, jet spa, steam room and 3 purpose build treatment rooms.

All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Please be aware that The Wynnstay Hotel has no ground floor bedrooms. Unfortunately we do not have a lift.

Set in the town centre you will find 34 stylish bedrooms individually styled with some rooms overlooking the famous Crown Bowling Green.
All 34 rooms are complete with private facilities. There are family rooms and 5 executive suites which have various individual features, including king-size beds, whirlpool baths and a sitting room.
Rate includes dinner, bed and breakfast per room. Dinner allowance is GBP 21 per person from the restaurant menu.
The Fours Seasons Restaurant offers an eclectic mix of dishes, created and developed by our Head Chef, ranging from a traditional roast to a balance of lighter, more creative dishes, many with a mediterranean or new Itallian influence. The choice of dishes reflects an international appeal and we pride ourselves to use fresh produce - much of it sourced locally. Our awards include 2 AA rosette Restaurant Closed Sunday Dinner. The Pavillion lounge bar features excellent value bar meals, both at lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. Blackboard items change daily.
